A Japanese company will pay part of its employees' salaries with Bitcoin
GMO Internet has confirmed that it plans to pay part of its employees' salaries in the virtual Bitcoin currency on a voluntary basis as of February 2018.
The company said it plans to pay as much as $ 890 in Pay Point's employees' salaries, just for those who want to run the adventure, with a minimum of $ 88. It also said it would provide a 10 percent premium to those interested in paying their salaries in that currency to encourage their real-time use, not just investment.
The company is currently considering the launch of its own currency GMO Coin to allow the purchase of other currencies, and will not be limited to "bit Coin" or other currencies that will appear over time. It is also seeking to develop a 7-nanometer processor that provides higher processing speed and lower power consumption, for use in virtual currency mining and higher credit over time.

وقالت الشركة إنها تنوي دفع ما يصل إلى 890 دولار أمريكي من رواتب موظّفيها بالـ “بت كوين”، وهذا للراغبين بخوض تلك المغامرة فقط، على أن يكون أقل مبلغ 88 دولار أمريكي تقريبًا. وذكرت أيضًا أنها ستُقدّم علاوة 10٪ للراغبين بتقاضي رواتبهم بتلك العملة وذلك للتشجيع على استخدامها بشكل واقعي، وليس الاستثمار فيها فقط.
وتدرس الشركة حاليًا إطلاق عملتها الإلكترونية الخاصّة GMO Coin بحيث تسمح بشراء عملات افتراضية أُخرى، ولن تكون محصورة بالـ “بت كوين” أو غيرها من العملات التي ستظهر مع مرور الوقت. كما تسعى أيضًا لتطوير مُعالج بتقنية 7 نانومتر يوفّر سرعة معالجة أعلى واستهلاك أقل للطاقة، وهذا لاستخدامه في تعدين العملات الافتراضية والحصول على رصيد أعلى مع مرور الوقت.
